Terms of use

ReadNoctis is a platform, operated by Corradetti Edoardo Ditta Individuale, that lets readers enjoy comics and manuscripts for free and lets authors publish their works. By using the site you accept these Terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

To publish you must create an author account with truthful information and be of legal age. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out with your account.

By publishing a work you declare that you are its author or hold all the rights needed to publish it, and that it does not infringe the rights of others. You keep the rights to your works: you grant ReadNoctis a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host them, show them to readers and display advertising alongside them for as long as they remain published on the platform.

You may not publish:

• sexually explicit or pornographic content;
• any content that sexualises minors or involves them in inappropriate situations;
• content that incites hatred, discrimination or violence against people or groups;
• extreme violence or gratuitous gore;
• copied or plagiarised works, or material you do not hold the rights to, including copyrighted characters and images;
• illegal content, other people's personal data, spam, misleading links or malicious software.

Works with themes or illustrations unsuitable for minors must be marked as 18+. To comply with advertising network policies, no advertising banners are shown on 18+ works: as a result they generate no impressions or earnings for the author. 18+ works must also comply with section 4.

Every work is reviewed by the staff before publication. The staff may reject or remove at any time content that violates these Terms, change a work's 18+ classification, and suspend or close accounts that violate them.

The site is funded by advertising. Authors receive 50% of the advertising revenue generated by their works. The amounts shown in the author dashboard are estimates based on the impressions recorded on the site: the actual amount depends on the real revenue from the advertising network and is confirmed by the staff at the time of payment.

Payment can be requested once the minimum threshold shown in the dashboard is reached, and is made against a receipt for the transfer of copyright. Reads with an active adblocker generate no impressions.

It is forbidden to artificially inflate views, impressions or ad clicks, for example by clicking your own ads, asking others to do so or using automated tools. In such cases the staff may cancel the affected earnings and close the account.

The service is provided as is. Each author is responsible for the content they publish. ReadNoctis does not guarantee that the site will always be available or error-free, but undertakes to fix problems as soon as possible.

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and in the Cookie Policy.

These Terms may be updated: significant changes will be announced on the site. The Terms are governed by Italian law.
